Lucy seems to be doing well enough ... per vet that she can stop the sub-Q fluids for now. Her nose is still running but not quite as bad. Her cough sounds like a dry croup but she is still eating very well and has energy. But if she tries to be energetic she starts coughing and hacking. She is on the strongest antibiotic there is for secondary bacterial infections from KC/influenza.
I make sure to keep her calm most of the time and in her crate 50% of the time to rest. I also put her in a steamy bathroom every day to help open her airways.
Lucy and I do not get much sleep ... the coughing and all .... as I keep her in my bedroom with me. i gave her my biggest crate ( large ) and she has a carpet, water bowl, food bowl, bed, fresh towel daily in her crate and the ability to see me at all times.
