I have a little padded mat next to the bed for my dog to sleep on. Besides this mat are a couple old pillows. I also let her sleep on the futon if she so chooses. I've thick, berber carpeting throughout the apartment.

So guess where my dog decided to sleep tonight?

Curled around the doorway, with her head resting on an iron dumbell.

I'll have to upload the photo of Smalls, sleeping on my boyfriend's mom's cane. Her body on the floor, but her head propped up and her lips smushed all over the cane.

Yeah, they're strange creatures... We have 4 big dog beds in the living room and two of my dogs sleep on either side of the pellet stove with their heads resting on the wrought iron base of the stove... Looks terribly uncomfortable.

I have 3 dogs and 6 beds for them around the house. My Boarder Collie rarely ever chooses to use one. I believe they just make her to hot. She would rather just lay on the carpet with nothing.
