Siberian Husky Training

Hi,

We have a Siberian Husky that is about 4 months old. We have a 5x15 dog run set up, that we bought at Petsmart. He is digging his way out of the run. I have some extra cap blocks that I can set up around the outside perimeter of the run to keep him from getting out. I may go out and buy some red stone to put inside the run to make it a little drier, as we have been getting lots of rain lately.

As far as training goes, is it better for one person to train the dog or involve everyone? I attended a training class at Petsmart about 8 years ago and remember the signs and motions to get the dog trained, as well as have some treats to praise him with.

One other thing to add, is that we have a Jack Russell that when we first brought the husky home, when it was meal time, the Jack Russell would hog all the food. Now, I have 2 bowls, 1 for each dog and the husky has learned to "attack" the Jack Russell and hog both bowls of food. While eating out of one of the bowls, the husky will bark while eating food. Is there a way to keep this from happening?
