Hi all,
This is my 5 month old cocker spaniel female.

Does anyone else think that she’s very short haired for an English cocker? We got her from a breeder in Cyprus and I’m starting to think she’s more red setter than anything.

What a cutie!

English Cockers don't have nearly as much coat as American Cockers. Field/working line Cockers don't have as nearly as much coat as a show line Cocker. She's still a baby yet, and her face looks more Cocker than setter to me. Also, Setters are bigger dogs that Cockers. And again, show line Setters (of any breed) carry more coat that field/working line Setters.
