The cat hissed at Hamilton, setting off a giant zoomie fit! It took me a minute to find the camera, hysterically laughing, but I recorded the second half of his zoomin'. Does anyone else have any zoomie vids to share? Post 'em!:clap2:

Lol, with your dog and he's cute. Luke would be too fast for me to do it and/or I would likely miss it before I grabbed the camera or cell phone. But what he does is: his curled tail is straight and he zooms around the room. He'll run into the dining room, around the table, back to the living room, behind the couch, and back to the dining room. Then it's a repeat. We usually get out of his way then too. And sometimes when he stops, he barks at us to get in on the fun. I never knew they were called zoomies, I usually call Luke "psycho puppy". :)
OMG he is the CUTEST thing!!! Is he like, GSD x Doxie?

Haha! Sounds like a party! We also call them "beans" (as in "full of beans") which is what we called it with my youngest cat before we got the puppy... so when Sir Didymus was running around crazy for no reason we'd say "Didy's got Beans this morning!!"

Yes. Yes he is. :p I told the trainer we take classes with that when he take "tricks" I want to learn how to teach him to stack. One day I'm going to come into some money (HAHA) and do one of those DNA kits for fun - if it comes back any part GSD, I'm gonna laugh my butt off.
Lol! The video is too cute! So is Hamilton! :D

I don't have a video recorder or I would video Eddee running 110 miles an hour up and down a long hallway and on and around all the furniture with a ball in his mouth! He would probably be too fast to video too .. he is such a blurrrrr! Lol!
Too Cute! This is exactly what are buddy boy does, Lady bug sometimes joins, it's just to cute and fun to watch. I need to get a camera(That does not have messed up color-LOL) so I can get good pictures and videos.

hmm I'll have to try to get some video of Jubel's zoomies tonight. I need to give him a bath and the vast majority of the time when I let him out of the bathroom after a bath he races down the stairs and then all over the living room and back up and down the stairs for a few minutes. We'll see if I remember and can get some video of it.

For whatever reason, every dog I've ever known has done this. Why bath=zoom is one of those doggish mysteries.

Zoomie still

Zoomie movie! Kenda (my dog, the black & white one) has the zoomies first, then Cletus (the boxer neighbordog) catches them. Click to watch movie.

Aww!! You can almost hear her shouting "WHEEE!!" as she runs!
Got a short one of Duncan, he was zooming about the living room on his own and ran into the dinning room when I grabbed my camera so it looks more like an excited recall but he was zooming before haha.

Then I have Jubel's post bath zoomies split into two parts because he got distracted and ran into my brother's room halfway through. Usually it's a lot more of the back and forth across the living room and up and down the stairs.

Kinda zoomies, kind of just playing.

Duncan does what Hammie does during zoomies -- grab a toy! drop it again! grab something else! drop that!

There's so many of them running around!!

Oh god! That makes me nauseous, lol!

We call this "a$$-down run" in our house. Need to record the dogs next time. It's HILARIOUS.
Not of zoomies, usually she's done with the zoomies by the time I get the camera over to record video. This is Auriel fetching her squeaky toy. Her zoomies look like this minus the toy.

I just have to act like am chasing her, and she's off!
