Hi everyone :] I'm new here and just have a question (hence joining this forum, hoping someone may have some idea).
I have a 2 & 1/2 year old pekingese mix dog who weighs about 15.5 lbs. He was just updated on his rabies and distemper vaccs. about a week ago.
I know it's normal for him to possibly be tired for a day or so but he's been seeming a little bit less interested in his dog food than usual, and tonight after going for his walk I noticed his rear leg is shaking/shivering...and his face appears to me as if he's uncomfortable (his eyes seem to be blinking a lot and his brows are moving a lot) he was laying in a sort of a clenched ball while his leg muscle was what appeared to be spasming/shaking. It wasn't anything outrageous but enough I could definitely feel it and see the muscle in his thigh moving.
He isn't whining and doesn't seem in pain really...just seems a little uncomfortable or irritated if anything I guess...but mostly just his normal lazing like he does at night time.
I just don't know what this could be from...any ideas?
Maybe a pinched nerve somewhere?
Here's a funny/cute picture of him, since we're new here. :]
