Sally came home last Saturday (when I had work allllll day of course, so everyone got to meet her before me *pout*) and is doing just great!

She's got some puppy nipping going on but is already getting better about her bite inhibition and housetraining is going really well. All of us here are totally in love!

She is without a doubt a water dog. She loves to dump out her waterbowl and then take a nap in the puddle. That pup can find water anywhere and seems to be constantly soaked!

She was 20lbs at 8 weeks and is gaining nicely and sleeping lots with all the growing she is doing.

Her and Carol get along great and play together whenever they are both awake at the same time, hehe.

Speaking of Carol she's now 11 weeks and weighs 24.8lbs as of yesterday. She is generally doing good except for a UTI we are working on clearing up. The first antibiotic didn't get rid of it so we are trying a stronger one.

Sorry, Leo is short for Leonberger. It's a german breed and this is a rough idea of what Sally will look like full grown...

That's not her mom or dad, I don't want to post the pics of them without asking the breeders permission to use her photos, but that is an adult leonberger.

Well, it's easy to see that you like the really really BIG dogs. They are both adorable and I love their names. And, uh, can we see some videos of the 2 of the playing please? I live vicariously through everyone else who has puppies because mine were adult when I got them...

I'll do my best to get some videos . It won't be until Sunday at the earliest though since tomorrow is another long work day (to spend more time with the pups I do 35 hours in 3 days and have 4 days off).

Carol (the greater swiss) should be about 100lbs or so full grown and Sally (Leo) will get to about 120-130 all grown up. Yep, I do love the giant breeds. I really want an english mastiff someday but that will have to wait for awhile. These two will keep me plenty busy with growing and training for the next few years.

FYI those megapixel images display full size, before the board software resizes them. Those of us without brontosaurobytes of computer memory get constipated computers. Won't stop me from looking at those pretty girls; it'll just make mutter mean things about you while I'm waiting.
