This Sunday I'm going to take Nash to check out search and rescue training:) I finally found a group in my area, and they said I can bring him along on sunday to see if its something I would be interested in. I'm so excited!!! I think Nash would be great at this. I play hide and seek with him all the time and he loves finding me, toys, other people, the other dogs.

You might want to ask the folks about how they approach training in their homes.
For example...do they allow their dogs on the furniture, beds and counters? Some trainers believe the dogs need to be allowed access to these places...there can be nothing off-limits when it comes to search.

Do they have a test for how hard the dog will work? Some toss a toy into the brambles and literally time the dog on long they will stay with the search.

Thanks, I'm pretty bummed about not being able to go this week. Nash won't let me really get a good look at his foot. Best I can tell it seems like something jammed under his nail, and I can't see if something is in there or if its just injured. Hopefully next week he will be ready to go, if not it will be the week after.
