Well my dad lives in very rural Claiborne County. It's right on the border of Kentucky and it's so rural and redneck there's no Animal Control and no Animal Shelter (they're supposed to build one). So with no shelter the accidental litters have no where to go, with no animal control unfortunately nothing stops people from shooting their dogs...seriously happens all the time there. So my dad started taking unwanted dogs in and we've ended up with 14 dogs! I decided to introduce them and their stories and show what a difference fostering makes. First the videos! To show that rescues with "baggage" can indeed peacfully coexist!

On to the pictures!-
Spot- 9+ Border Collie mix.Spot was found dropped off at the vets in Kentucky with another dog in a little fence they have in the front sometime during the night. He has epilepsy and because of that we can't find anyone that will adopt him so we decided to just keep him! He's a great hiking companion =)

Precious- 1yr old Lab mix;Her and her brother were found abandoned at about 3 months old. Her brother didn't make it. Both were found with broke tails (it's a mystery why) She has a cute little crooked tail lol She's adoptable. Spayed and UTD on all shots.

Cutie- 3yr old miniature dauchshund/ pittie mix. Strangly enough she was found in hole under a house. We decided to keep her since she has aggression issues towards other people.

Big Boy (name suggestions needed) 5yr? Walker coonhound. This 100lb+ boy just found his way here. Since he probably didn't walk to the ruralest house in the world we figure he was dropped off. It's a small town the folks know we take in dogs. He's also up for adoption scheduled for nueter next month.

Some of you may remember Little Girl. We found her attacked by a coyote on the side of the road. She's healed up nicely and overcame her fear of other dogs! She's a huge sweetheart!
For weeks she would roll over and pee when another dog came around but her and precious have made great progress and are great friends! here's a video and this is what fostering does for a dog-

Here's a before picture of when we first found her, she couldn't even get up who knows how she'd been laying there she had wounds to her neck-

after- so much happier! this is just after about 3 weeks of fostering--

such a happy little dog-

Here's part of the crew greeting Hallie-

Thanks for looking =)

Great to see Little Girl coming out of her shell, and still have no clue why no one is taking her yet. Is she still living with you and Hallie?

All the dogs look so sweet, what a great guy your dad is! And you, too, for helping out. :D

Yes she is sooo much friendlier and happier now! No she's at my dad's for now until the 25 then we'll bring her here and work on house training and such. I'm not sure why she hasn't been scooped up yet either!

More dogs to come..remember there are 14!

Buddy- pittie mix borned with malformed legs. Previously used as a bait dog because of his inability to effectively fight back but at the same time was as vicious as other fight dogs. We've had this little guy for 8 years! He's truly a trooper. He has extreme aggression towards other male dogs. He's extremely driven for being a 9 yr old senior!

Spot- Found pregnant and with an extreme leg injury which has healed but she still isn't using it as much as the vet would like so we may have to have it amputated(hopefully not though), we didn't know it when we took her in but not much longer after that she gave birth to two great little girl puppies!

Brown girl- (yes name very original lol) she was found with cutie (introduced earlier) in a hole when she was just a tiny puppy. She's mommy's girl! Her estimated mix is pitbull/miniature dauchshund.
