Hi all, Rufus and I are new to the site!

I adopted him from an Iowa shelter about a month ago. He's been a very good dog and seems to have some obedience training. We have been struggling a lot with Separation Anxiety though (you may see a lot of posts from me on the subject!) Hopefully things improve soon.

He was listed as a Wolfhound Mix. Any ideas what he might be?

Wolfhound mix is possible, but I could also see Schnauzer/Lab mix. In the pictures it looks like he's been shaved before? How much does he weigh?

He's 75 pounds, which is definitely smaller than a wolfhound for sure. He has massive feet though.

Welcome to DF! Rufus is a cutie, I love the second picture. I thought Wolfhound/Newf at first, but he's probably much too small for that. Schnauzer/Lab is a strong possibility. Is the Wolfhound part a guess, or did the shelter know for sure?
