Mine does quite a bit. I've only had her since February, but she started reverse sneezing in May. It scared me so much because I thought she was dying! My vert recommended rubbing her throat to help with the spasm. She also takes some OTC allergy medicine to help control it.

If they do it a lot, have the vet take a 'sample' from the nose. Sometimes, especially if it comes on suddenly and is persistent, it is because they have mites in their nose.

Mine has allergies, plus he sticks his nose in everything ... almost like a beagle... BUt he reverse sneezes only a few times a year.

One of the girls at the clinic I work at has a yorkie/chihuahua mix that reverse sneezes often! Especially when she gets excited! Allergies could be part of it, also if the dog is heavy, or could be a polyp in the nose? If its' really bugging you, I'd have a vet check it out!
