She could have had several litters. Generally speaking, the more litters they've nursed, the less things tighten up afterwards. But yes, definitely have them looked at to make sure it's just from nursing puppies, and not something else.

We are looking at a min pin at a local shelter. The picture above shows her nipples. I’m not sure if she’s had puppies or not. Her nipples are very long but are not full. She is thin. She will have a vet checkup soon, but she is still at the shelter. Any ideas?
