I have a rescue dog retriever cross bitch, she is approx 6 months old, strong and strong willed, seems untrainable, anyone any ideas, does not respond to treats, whistles or clickers

I guess more information is needed. What are you trying to trainer her to do? What methods specifically have you tried?

I suggest taking her to a puppy class that uses positive reinforcement. They will be able to assist both of you in using proper training techniques. There are right ways and wrong ways to use clickers and whistles.

1. How big is she, how long have you had her?
2. Can you walk her 20 min. in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening?
3. Do you have a place like PetsMart where you can walk her through the aisles even day?
