So, I still cant have my own dog, but! My parents can and we finally got a fence around our backyard so we can get a dog. I'm helping them get one from the Humane Society. Everyone has been in and out of the HS this week and today was my first trip. And I think I found the one for them Her name is Lacey (I dont know if we would keep that name), she is a Border Collie mix, medium sized and tan/yellow and white. She is about 1 year old (I managed to get my parents to think about getting an "older" dog, haha, they originally only wanted a little puppy) and already knows sit. She sorta knows how to play fetch but we will fix that if we get her. And she past the cat test, since we have 3 in our house. The second picture is her checking out the cats, she was interested but didnt want to eat them.

I have been busy working as a kennel manager/dog trainer. I am currently training 2 Shar Pei's in obedience and 1 in conformation. I just finished training a dog as a duel dog (Obedience and conformation) but she went to Oahu to go to shows and more advanced training. I'm going to be showing a Shar Pei puppy in the upcoming dog show season Im so excited!

Well, back on topic, my Dad went in this morning to "put a down payment on her" as he said (Haha) but she just had walked out the door and was adopted by someone else! I know I should be happy for her but I cant help but be sad, I really liked her. Our island doesnt have many dogs to go in the shelter so we dont know when another dog will show up that we like. I will let you guys know if we see any dogs we like.
