Redford Naturals vs Diamond Naturals??

I want to switch my dog from Purina One to a higher quality food, and the two brands I've found that I can afford and seem to be good quality are Redford Naturals and Diamond Naturals. Diamond Naturals is less expensive, but they seem to have had quite a few recalls, which makes me wary. On the other hand, Redford Naturals contains menhaden fish meal, which is sometimes preserved with ethoxyquin (I contacted the manufacturer to ask and am still waiting to hear back). Any advice on which to choose or other quality dry senior dog foods of a similar price would be greatly appreciated by both me and my dog!!
