Hi: Our 8 year old Spaniel-Bassett mix has red eyes and a puffed up bag under one eye that looks as though it could be an infection. Otherwise he seems healthy enough. Can anyone tell us if there is something worth trying for it instead of taking him to a Vet? I wonder if polysporin will do it, or is there something better worth trying.
