Hello all,
There is a red bump that has been growing out of the side of my 14 month old German Shepherd's mouth over the past month. It started as a small red bump and has grown into a bigger one that looks chapped. See photos. Anyone know what this is? It does not appear to be contagious as my older 10 year old dog does not have one.

I would suggest going to the vet. Could be a papilloma, which is contagious to other dogs.

Take your dog to a vet, there are any number of things it could be, some contagious, some not and some that could turn life threatening. The ONLY person who can make a diagnosis is a VET in person.

Oh, that means BOTH of you that are asking to be diagnosed by picture.
