Recovery after anesthesia

Breed: greyhound
Age: 4
Weight: 64 lbs (healthy weight for her)

Angie had a dental and extraction today. All went well. She came home at 1:20pm. She got up once to change position. She hasn't had anything to eat or drink. She peed shortly before we came home. She will raise her head and respond when talked to. Should I be worried yet? How long do the side effects last?

If she isn't seeming better by noon tomorrow I'd call your vet. She should at least be drinking water by tomorrow.

Sighthounds with low body fat have more trouble with anesthesia than other breeds. I'd watch her closely tonight and call the vet with your questions in the AM - as soon as the vet gets there,
