Any advice for an German Shepard mix with husky

My friends have a mixture of a German Shepherd and a Husky. But I wouldn't say it's a rare mix. I have met this type of dogs on walks a few times. In my opinion, a rare mix and at the same time one of the sweeter I have seen are dogs that look like GS but with short legs like dachshunds
