Since I'm not doing agility with Charlie anymore, I'm thinking about entering some obedience or rally competitions with him.

Other than AKC, what other organizations offer these trials? I tried googling "obedience trials" "rally competition" etc. but kept coming up with pages for trainers and stuff.

UKC and APDT do rally. I know UKC does obedience as well.

Go on the UKC's site, they probably have more information

AKC is probaby the most common. I would think there would be a lot of AKC trials in SC. is there a reason you want a different venue? don't get me wrong I think they are all great but AKC would probably be the easiest to come by.

No particular reason, just want to know what all my options are! I would probably rather compete in multiple venues rather than traveling further to compete in only AKC.

Plus Charlie doesn't have his AKC reg, but I downloaded the application to get him an ILP last night.

Here in Canada there is a rally-o association that is separate from breed shows...I'm not sure about in the States though? It's called CARO here (Canadian Association of Rally Obedience).

Rutylr, thanks so much for all the links!! I will definitely be checking them out! :D
No problem.
When looking into Rally. UKC/AKC are the easiest
then C-wags and the hardest in APDT.
The signs are kind of the same, but not.So make sure you look up the signs for the begining levels of the one you are going to try.
I like C-wags signs for slow it's a turtle,for fast it's a rabbit.
