It has been POURING rain for nearly 3 days now !! So where is summer ?? The dogs are bored silly ( they dont like to play in the rain ) and I am getting a bad case of cabin fever . I have that song " Rainy days and mondays always get me down " stuck in my head now. I hope it clears up by this weekend , I am supposed to go camping . I might have to get a boat just to get out of my driveway if this keeps up !! HOLD ON ...I just saw a duck swim past my window............

You know ... the human body has a tough time adjusting to all these ups and downs with the temps! 90's all last week ... 60's today and 90's by the weekend :/ Seems like Mother nature is going through menopause! LOL 68 here is a heatwave !! I have a hard time dealing with very hot weather but the cold does not bother me at all, ok remind me of that statment when its 30 below zero lol . One of my daughters and 3 grandkids live in Vegas and I can't go down there in the summer, I would melt from the heat so I will go down in December for the holidays.

We've had like a week of a half of high 90's and the last 2 days have been icky sticky humid. We haven't had rain all month though and the crops are dying, so if you want to send some rain out to the sandhills of Nebraska feel free. The cats spend almost their whole day under the porch panting in the shade with Lady (the dog). Roonie and Kodi have to stay inside most of the time because they would overheat outside. Its miserable right now. I wish it would just rain, at least to get the humidity out of the air.

We need rain here badly. I can't remember the last time its rained, the crops look awful and its very very dusty. Please send some toward Indiana, please! My mom is on her way to Florida right now and I told her she's going on vacation to the one place its raining in the country lol. I guess I was wrong since apparently its raining in Alaska also!

I am originially from Oregon City Oregon and remember the crazy weather. You must be near the mountains ?? I spent many a weekend camping in the rain down there. I hope you guys get some summer soon , my brother is complaining about not being able to ride his new motorcycle !!

Today I was near Sisters for work, and that's where I got hailed on. But I live in the valley, where it just rained cats and dogs today. No need to water the garden, at least.

Isn't the human creature a funny critter. When it is too hot we want it cooler, when its cooler we want it hotter, when its wet we want it dry, when its dry we want it wet. We should all be like dogs and just take it as it comes and shake it off.

It has been raining here all day as well and, for us a cool temp of around 9celcius. Just watched a kangaroo hop past. Poor bugger was soaked. At least I am inside, dry and warm.

Its gonna get HOT in Saint Louis this week. 103 on Thursday & Friday, blessedly the humidity isn't supposed to be so high so it doesn't feel like you're walking around in a sauna. I won't have any problems if my peke doesn't want to outside those days, cause I don't wanna take her either.

YIKES I would MELT !!! I hope you have a/c. I see a sliver of sunlight here and the birds are singing, thats a good sign. Last night it rained so hard it sounded like a herd of moose on my metal roof !!!
