I'm not sure about the Bona Fide Kennel Club, but the North American Purebred Registry looks to be along the lines of the Continental Kennel Club and the American Pet Registry, Inc., both of which were set up for the commercial petshop breeding industry. In my opinion, most organizations that give out "registration" papers on dogs with a completely unknown pedigree, and then allows you to register any resulting puppies, are suspect.
