My 3 1/2 mo old puppy who up until yesterday seemed to enjoy going for walks will now just sit down in the driveway and not budge. He refuses to walk and will just sit there until I start walking back to the house then he follows me and goes back inside. My wife and I work during the day so hes alone in his crate and I really like to use my time before and after work to get him out on walks but if he doesnt want to go...I am not sure what I can do

Rebuild the confidence to face the world...all the scary sights and noises. Walk up and down the driveway...then go a little further...house to the left...house to the right. Down to the corner and back....then around the corner/around the block. Praise and treat for showing confidence and following you. Make walks fun...toss treats into the grass...let him search for them...do the things the dog likes to do.

Puppies have fear periods and sometimes, you need to help them cope with the normal stuff.

I agree with the PP, my puppy was afraid of walks for a bit, and I just took along some treats, and "bribed" her into walking for a bit. Now, she is loving walks. I still sometimes bring treats, but not always, and she walks happily.
