This has always been something that worries me. How do I tell if Ty is "too" skinny?
I can feel his ribs, but not overly so, and I can feel his spin but not overly so. You also can't see his ribs or spine if you look at him, but I don't no if thats because you can't or if its because his fur there is black.
But lately he's lost the "roundness" of his tummy. Does that just mean he's loosing his "puppy fat" and gaining his older more leanness?...if that makes any sense. Its just something I worry about. Because he's not a huge eater. He'll eat about 2 cups of Orijen a day, if that, he gets one cup in the morning and one at night. Sometimes I'll give him more, if he's eaten it all, and sometimes he doesn't eat all of the cup. I'm gonna bring him into the vet next week to get weighed, or this Saturday maybe. He needs to get weighed for his Revolution. Last time he was there (2 weeks Wednesday) he weighed 7.2kg and I KNOW he weighs more than that.
I guess I'm just a worry wart.
