I'm no expert on the subject. But I know when we took our pup for the second injection the vet told us the site could swell up or be sore for a few days. It never did ... but he had warned us to watch it. Is there a bump or scab or anything? Maybe call your vet to find out .. he may suggest childrens benadryl IF he thinks its a reaction.
Like you said it could be shes hurt her self and it tender ... if shes not coddling the site and being aggressive ... from what I know, I wouldn't worry to much its probably a bruise if anything.
