I received a 7 wk. puppy and started to crate him right away. He does great when we go out and at night no accidents either. It’s been 2 wks and I thought it was going to be great. When we are home we let him out and play with our 6 yr. old dog, followed by regular visits outside. He loves outside and the water (kiddy pool), so we let him stay out there for 5-10 minutes. Before we let him in we make sure he goes potty one more time then we go inside. The problem is that in a short time 5-15 minutes he pee's on the kitchen floor. So out we go then in we go, but then he walks in his crate and pees. We have a comforter for the two to lay on, which they use all the time, but now he goes and pees on that too. A lot of times it is only a little bit, but I need to still wash everything almost daily. What am I doing wrong? I am going crazy and need a little advice.
Thanks

For one thing you need to wash and clean up everything with an enzyme cleaner such as Nature's Miracle otherwise the pup still smells the odor even if you don't.

For another, pups often don't do all their business at once since they get distracted. After you think he's finished reward him with a short, active outdoor game and then take him back to his potty area for another try before taking him inside.

Expect accidents because he's a baby and has no control yet, but if you catch him in the act, and only if you do so, it's perfectly ok to correct him with a firm but quiet voice correction and to pick him up mid-stream and take him out to finish. Praise if he does finish outside.
