We're new here; Trigger is our 7 week old German Shorthaired Pointer ,

My wife Jessica and I also have a child who just celebrated his first birthday:cool:. Trigger and Isaac are quickly becoming best buddies but Trigger likes to jump on Isaac and nibble a bit during play (Trig especially likes to jump when Isaac falls down) which I'm sure is normal for a puppy of her age, I'm just trying to figure out ways to curb this behavior (In addition to "No").

We're also trying to teach Isaac how to deal with this correctly. He can't exactly say "no jump" yet and doesn't entirely grasp the concept anyway.

I don't have any puppy experience

I would keep the pup on a leash and redirect him to a toy when he starts trying to play with the baby

The baby is going to get hurt as the puppy grows if he continues to mouth and jump on him as if he were another pup
