Looks like he will have a medium length coat, like a Labrador or German Shepherd. His coloring is often referred to as sable. Only time will tell for sure, I've seen puppies look like that and turn out almost completely black. Coats can do funny things with age.
Puppy Coat
Hi, I'm a parents of a crossed breed puppy age 1month. He was given early bc his previous parents hands were full on handling too many dogs already. His parents are mongrel. My question is about his coat. Will it be long coated or short coated? He has longer hair around his muzzle but the rest is shorter. Also, will his hair color change as he grows?Thanks for helping out!
