So I have an Australian Shepherd and Labrador mix. She’s supposed to be long haired and I just wanna know if she’s on the right track. She’s 3 months old.
Given the ear fluffs, I will be surprised if she doesn't end up with at least a medium coat. I doubt it'll be full on long and super dense, but she's not going to have a smooth coat, anyway.
Though - she has to have more in the mix to have any kind of long hair cropping up in the litter. Long hair happens when both parents carry. With a lab in there - probably not a thing. Lab mix X Aussie, yes. But not PB lab X Aussie.
Very sad update, poor Nala was hit by a car and has a fractured pelvis, bruised lungs, and missing a nail. She’s alive and well but will need to be bed ridden for about a month.
