pug x beagle - breeding project

Somebody linked a society of people breeding 99% pugs, 1% beagles in hope of reducing the health issues revolving brachy muzzles in pugs.

Cant find the website anywhere, does somebody know?

Pug x Beagle crosses tend to be remarkably similar in type when they are an F1 cross. It's when you breed puggle to puggle that you start getting the mixed results. It can take several generations to "set" breed type, and you can still wind up with a throwback when you breed two dogs that both carry the same recessive gene for something.
