It's been raining for two days in central florida...

my male puppy who is affraid of everything is apparently affraid of getting wet.

I'm tired of him going to the bathroom in my house.

It's not supposed to stop raining till the 28th.

I tried walking him around the back yard on his leash in the rain for like 15 minutes. All it accomplished was a lot of tugging to go inside, and me getting wet.

Any suggestions?

I live on the West Coast of FL where it's been raining for 3 days straight. Oh well. Hurricane season is on it's way! Not ALL of my 4 dogs enjoy going out in the rain. But, they do it when they have to potty, including my puppy. We all have rain gear.

Keep taking your puppy out until he goes potty. You do what you have to do when you decide to get a puppy. That's housetraining for you!

It seems to be more the walking in the water/mud than the rain itself that bothers him. We've been taken him out side for 15-20 minutes just standing in the rain and he spends the whole time trying to get inside.

He's havnig about 4-5 accidents in the house a day, which is bad because we had him going 2-3 days at a time without accidents working on potty training.

Just keep staying out there, if you lose this battle now, it's going to be a lifelong headache for you.
