You can give a small amount of pumpkin along with pro-biotics. If you don't mind my asking, is there a reason you feel you need to add pumpkin?
Probiotics and Prebiotics plus pumpkin
Can i give them both cause some foods come with it the Lactobacillus acidophilus Probiotics and I give my dogs Inclover Prebiotics ?Pure pumpkin added to food is ok for even a good quality food such as Merrick,Natural Balance,and Nature's Variety

Makes sense. I hope the pumpkin helps. Some of my dogs had soft poop from pro-biotics, some didn't. A little rice might help.
I love making Lundberg Wild Rice blend (tastes likes warm nuts, it's yummy) with fresh pumpkin. Dogs go nuts for it...good thing since its great for Skyler when he has a colitis flare.
