Hello... This is my first post in these forums. Sorry it couldn't be happier. ^_^
Alright... I've had my dog for 14 years now, and she's always been in top health... I've been taking care of her all by myself for almost three years now, (once I moved out of my mother's house,) and I've been feeding her the best food, best care, etc etc.
I came downstairs today and instantly noticed something was wrong, because instead of laying on her favorite couch, my dog was laying in her bed, and her head was tilted when she looked at me. When I called her from her bed, she was off-balance, and one of her eyes was flicking in its socket.
To me, this seems like a stroke. All vet clinics are closed right now, and the only place I can take her is an emergency clinic.
My question is... Should I just wait until tomorrow to take her to a clinic? She's acting 100% fine and happy aside from her balance problem... I've been reading up on it, and every source keeps telling me that there's nothing to be done for a stroke except continue to give them good care. I even heard that within a few weeks the dog can return back to normal.
Any advice for me? I would greatly appreciate it.
