Had Layla rush into vets this evening. She had managed to get up on the sofa and ate some of my sons easter egg.

The vet has admitted her to induce vomiting and pump through fluids. She seem fine when i left her, but she's so little. I felt so guilty.

Gonna have a restless night, be ringing first thing tomorrow morning.

My poor baby:Cry:

Oh no! I will be sure to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers tonight! ... Layla for sure!

It is so scary when they get ill or do things like that! Please keep an update on her.

Hi abbylynn,

Thanks for your well wishes. Its good news, layla is fine, came home at 11.30 with no adverse side affects. Been given some medicine to coat her intestines, just as precaution.

She's running around playing at the min, so glad she's home safe and well!! =D

Hi Keechak

Layla is a 1kg pomeranian. Which I think works out at about 2 pound. She ate about 10g of chocolate. Which is a big amount for such a little dog. She's sorted now anyway, thank god she has health insurance for her! lol x
