I have a 10 month old pit mix. She eats cat poop when I let her outside. I want to let her out unattended but I have to be with her every minute she is outdoors. Of course the poop make her vomit and I'm tired of cleaning the mess in the house. I'm looking for a muzzle that she can't get off her head. The few I've tried, she manages to get them off her muzzle. Any ideas?

Can you pick up the cat poop? If the cats are going in a certain spot, can you block that area so the dog can't access it?

Dogs always tend to eat cat poop. I tend to mess with my dog and put something spicy on it so they don't want to eat it In fear of burning their mouth
Ha !!! I tried putting spicy on things I didn't want the dogs eating, they seemed to be more Interested !!!!

The only effective way to make a back yard pet safe is to remove all hazards.

In the time you were putting something on the poop you could have been picking it up and making the place clean instead. I will never understand why anyone wants to "mess with" their dog.

Clean the yard of cat poop daily.
Usually, cats will prefer to go in one same area, and if you pick up the poop daily they will continue to go there in that spot. If you don't pick it up, they will keep moving to a cleaner spot. Once you have them pooping in one area, you can fence that area off so your dog cannot get there. but you will need to keep picking up the poop for this to work.

This post is three months old and the poster hasn't been back since they started the thread. @T Lledsmar we have explained that we close revived threads at about three months if the poster is inactive and there's been no activity, and yet you're still regularly reviving older threads. Please talk to me or any of the other mods if there's something you're not understanding, otherwise we will have to take this habit as a deliberate attempt to flout the rules.
