We will be getting a Pomeranian pup who will be three months old when we get her. Haven't done the puppy routine in about eleven years. Looking at a wire one with a divider. Some reviews say wire ones can be dangerous. Then plastic ones can be chewed. This crate will be for potty training and when we can't watch her. Any ideas?

My last three dogs have all had wire crates. The one before that had a plastic crate. There are pros and cons of each type. If you want a wire crate, make sure that the welds are sturdy, and that there aren't any large gaps, especially if it's a collapsible crate.
