okay, so the guy down the street saw my dog today and asked why he was limping. I explained that he had surgery for a luxating patella. He said (quite nastily), "that's what you said the last time your dog was limping..." like he didn't believe me. Well, he's right. Three months ago my dog had surgery on his left leg and last week had surgery on his right leg, both were for luxating patellas. He said, "I should turn you in for animal abuse."

WHAT A JERK!. But seriously, should I worry about it?

Worry about what? The guy turning you in for being a good owner and doing surgery to correct a problem that otherwise would cause a lot of pain to your dog?

The guy doesn't know what he is talking about, and if he does turn you in, you have the evidence to prove the dog had surgery.

No, we weren't on a walk. We were in our front yard playing. The guy down the street was walking by.
