Hi, one of my four dogs ate about 10 Hershey Kisses while I was at work today. I'm not sure which of the four it was, but their weights are anywhere from 25 (the smallest dog) to 73 (largest dog) pounds. It probably happened about 4 and a half or more hours ago. All four are fine, drinking fine, playing with each other, playing with me, but I'm SO WORRIED! Whoever it was ate the tin foil of the Hershey Kisses too! Help please!
Also none of them have vomited.

Milk chocolate kisses, and thats what I'm thinking maybe they shared! I just took all 4 on walks individually and none are acting weird, they were all pulling me trying to chase every leaf/rabbit/bird they saw. I don't smell any chocolate on their breath. It has been 5 or more hours now.

For milk chocolate, it takes about one ounce per pound to be dangerous. So 10 kisses won't hurt even the smallest. If it were dark chocolate you might have had a problem, though.

I'm told the foil on kisses isn't stiff enough to cause problems. So just keep an eye on them--someone will have sparkly poop!

Thank you Willowy, your words were actually really comforting! I took a kiss that they hadn't gotten to and examined the foil, it doesn't seem stiff at all. It's more paper-y than foil-y. I think that they shared because when I showed them the packaging the kisses came in the one dog wouldn't look at me at all, and the other one kept sniffing it and then she also sniffed/licked the blanked that they ate the kisses on. So that's also comforting knowing that one dog didn't get them ALL. It has been 6 or more hours now. How long after eating it would they start showing signs if something was wrong?

It has been 9 and a half or more hours since they ate it. I have seen three of the four dogs poop, which is probably a good sign, right? I didn't see the fourth one poop but she may have done it while I was watching the other two poop (lol invasion of privacy, much?). The poops were normal, which is also probably good. I am calming down a little more now, because they are still all acting normal.

As the hours go on I'm getting less worried because they still aren't acting like anything is wrong. Although I read online that 12-24 hours after consumption is when the diarrhea from all of the sugar begins. And it has now been 12 and a half hours!
