Hi everyone ! Iam new to this forum..and a dog lover from Sri Lanka...Recently i bought a shih tzu where i couldnt see her parents. The previous owner said that they are quite sure that the mum was a shih tzu but not abt the father...she is so cute and lovable...but i think she looks like a shih tzu and a yorkie terrier mix...now she is arond 4 months and very tiny but very active i think she is around 4 lbs....just check on the link to view pic of hers.. pls can anyone just give me an idea of her breed...? what kind of crossing would it be?

She looks like she could have some Yorkie in her if she is that small.
Thank you for replying.....ya does that mean she isnt having any shih tzu look? i know definitely the nose level is wrong though...
Your pup is so adorable! I see Yorkie mix in her too.
I can see shih tzu/yorkie mix for sure and possibly some maltese in there too. Do you have any pictures of her standing?

She reminds me a lot of my dog, who we are pretty sure is a yorkie/shih tzu mix. She weighed about 6 lbs at 3 months and is now 15 lbs at 1.5 years just to give you an idea of size. Here is what she looked like as a pup and what she looks like now

thanks a lot...! ya she is .....
If its driving you crazy, You could try a DNA test. they aren't definitive but I'd bet they're more accurate then guess based on photos.
Or you can accept your dog is addorable regardless of breed

( I thought they cost a fortune but woman at the dog park said she got hers tested for $50 and wippet pointer sounds like a better fit than the rescue's claim of lab mix )

Not sure what country you're in but there are cheap kits you can buy online, take a siliva swab and mail it back to a lab. I would think this could be done internationally.

http://www.amazon.com/Wisdom-Mixed-Breed-DNA-Test/dp/B004GFN2ZA I'm not recommending this specific test just using it as an example of an available mail order test.
