Poppy pining bad for Troy and now making herself ill. Anyone got any ideas to bring her out of it please?

Nothing worse than a dog pining.

Honestly he's going to for a little while, you may be able to minimize it with exercise and getting him out of the house. It'll do you good as well. Does he socialize well with other dogs? if so, perhaps a play date with some of his other doggy friends will help too. Right now he's probably feeding off your emotions as well as missing her.
