My dog is on medication starting today and I purchased pill pockets from the Greenies company so that he would take the meds. He's on a grain-free diet, not because of allergies, just because I prefer him to be on one. But I noticed these pill pockets have corn and wheat products in them. Any reason for concern there?

If he's not allergic to them, I don't see any reason for concern. You could also use something like peanut butter, cream cheese or Velveeta. :)

We have used them in the past but our dogs are much smarter than we think they are. It took them only 2 or 3 of them and then they were onto our little trick!
we use bread to wrap the pill in and they are quite content with that! they won't even touch the pill pocket now.

We use pill pockets at work and they seem to work very well. They will obviously not be a staple of his diet, so I would not be worried. As mentioned above, peanut butter, cheese, cream cheese, etc all work well. I am glad I do not have to worry about all that. My silly dog will do tricks for medicine. He catches his heartworm preventative in the air! lol good luck!

As above, if he's not allergic then you are good :)

The only way Webster will take a pill is if I put it in his throat so he can't spit it out, or if I mash it up into powder and mix it into yogurt, PB, pumpkin, sugarfree applesauce, etc. He doesn't mind the throat method, surprisingly (would run over and sit eagerly when I opened the bottle), but I tended to use the mashed version lol
