Petsmart birthday party

Did any one go today?

i went with Blaze, as it has been another crummy day, so somthing for us to do and stay dry. They had a game of musical chairs, humans sit and then have to get their dog to sit. All the dogs except for a husky/shepherd mix were terrible. non could sit, it was pathetic lol. So Blaze and the GSD/Husky mix were really head to head, but int he end we won. we won a $5.00 coupon for petsmart, and $25.00 coupon for purina products. I though, oh crap I dont want crappy purina food lol. Then I relized, duh they do have treats. So Blaze got a whole whack load of treats. It was alot of fun there, spent about 2 hours, so many dogs and puppies. I met a 7 month old Jindo pup. never met one of those before (My boyfriends friend has a senior one, but I havnt met her either, just seen pictures)all in all it was a pretty decent time there.

I was going to go, since I work there, but I worked this morning, and didn't really feel like going back, lol.

There was somthing similar to that at a pet store near me but it was called "Politness." and everyone held out there hand and which ever dog shook the most people's hand won.... Pickle's first trick was hand shaking so he won. What did he win "OL ROY FREAKING DISCOUNTS!" I also bought treats......

I was in Petsmart today and there wasn't anything going on but clearance sales.

It started at 6pm. so maybe thats why you never noticed. OH I LOVE their clearence event. the cat and dog have so many new toys lol

Our party was from 6-7:30. My store is relatively small but we had a good turn out for the grand prize sit contest - 8 dogs played. We did musical sits. One of the winners was so excited because they said the dog never sits at home, and they won $5 PetSmart and $20 Purina. My grand prize winner was actually a dog in daycamp who was picked up right before it started and I talked them into staying around - they won $50 because of it!

I didn't get any good photos of it but I did get several goodie bags and several coupon packs to give to my students hehe.

Purina sponsored the party so of course the grand prize was coupons for them, but even if you win and don't like purina at least you had fun! Hehe!

I've never heard of that party. Sounds like fun.

Blaze looks almost embarrassed to have all of those treats.

Hey, we went to that! Everyone made fun of us for having it on the calender, but yes, it was fun. Then we took the "babies" out for frozen yogurt. They needed something to cheer them up after they lost "musical sits".

We stumbled on it last night -- we were just stopping in to pick up a couple things and they were taking pictures and giving stuff out.

Man o man, it was hard to get Pepper to pose for a picture. As a result, the picture is more of me than of her.

It was pretty fun. Blaze does look embaressed. He never looks happy when i take indoor photos. lol

yea i dont use any purina prodcuts, except treats. to me treats are like us eating a chocolate bar so to say, junk is junk. And its fine in small portions. He did get lucky and got to try every treat last night. lol.

I had to hold Blazes face for our photo, he would not look at the camera man, was watching all the puppies get treats and my grandma on the other side of the room. So our picture is me holding his face crouched down with him lol
