Hey Forum - Our family has a dog (cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and to be honest he has been a million dollar dog! But basically, my parents have left me in charge of the dog while they headed over seas for business. This is okay with me, although two days before they left he was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I realize how severe this really is and I was hoping someone could help me as I look after the dog!

He is on Codine at the moment to ease the pain.

he is also on Noroclaz for the pancreatitis I think (???)

Anyway, he has just thrown up.. He was choking prior to this (so assuming he ate something bad and that got stuck in his throat causing him to regurgitate) Should I be worried that he has thrown up?

I would call your vet in the morning. It could be the disease or the meds. I would let your vet know and the two of you could decide what to do next. I would not feed him the rest of the night. Leave water down as long as your dog is not gulping down the water.
