We brought home our puppy when she was 8 weeks old. We have been training her since we have had her. She has been wonderful about wetting outside. She has had very few accidents inside the house. The problem is on a few occasions she will poop outside, she normally always does it inside. We can be outside for 20 minutes and then we can bring her inside and she can do it within 2 minutes. We have tried standing still, walking, tying her and she will not do anything.

After she poops she likes to play with it and luckily I have caught her before she has indigested any of it.

Any suggestions on how I can get her to do her "dirty business" outside? Sallie is now 14 weeks.

On those few occasions that you do catch her doing her business outside, throw her a party. Give her 1 treat for pee's and 2 treats for poops. Make it the best thing ever. Don't take her in the house immediately after either, let her roam as part of the reward.

When she poops in the house, just clean it up. No treats, no fuss.

14 weeks is still quite young, she probably won't completely get the hang of potty training until around 6 months.
