Our puppy Gracie discovered the joy of mud today

It's been pretty dry here since we adopted Gracie. It's probably rained once where the ground was soaked and the other times (just a couple really) very lightly. Anyway, I was watering the back yard rose bushes and my rose of Sharon tree when Gracie discovered she could pull up some grass under the rose of Sharon and kind of squish her little butt around in the mud. She looked so funny. Then she played a rousing game of Chase with our older dog Rosie. Mud all over, yipee! Lucky her fur is so short. Meanwhile Rosie just looks at her like she's crazy. Rosie is very ladylike and avoids mud when possible. I'll try to add pictures but I'm not real good at that so we'll see...
