Hi everyone.
First I have to say I love my Rottie Rose or Rosie as we call her. I have always been around big dogs. I have lived with my mom for a few years since my health has declined a bit so I havent owned a big dog since we haven't had room. We moved however and alone comes Rosie. She is a rescue/stray. She became a part of our family a few months back and I thoroughly enjoy her. She will be a year old next month and aside from the zoomies and some wire chewing..lol..she is wonderful. So easy to train and so sweet unless she goes into protection mode, and well thats another story, heh. Anyway, my mom has 3 smaller dogs, a mini Schnauzer (female), toy Schnauzer (female) and a Chiwawa who is a male. Other than her extreme e exuberance to see them all, ALL the time, the girls get along with her. However, Peanut the Chiwawa, he basically hates her guts, lol. When she is out and about in the house with me I do put her on a leash for now because she doesn't realuze her size around the little ones. Does anyone have any tips on how to get Peanut to warm up to her a bit? She handles it well right now, but I am affraid her will take it to far some day and she won't tolerate it.
Thank you everyone!
