looks more and more like a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever every day. From her large webbed feet to her very repellent coat. We took her to the brook behind the house this past weekend and before we knew it she had launched herself from the shore into the water and was swimming. She did this the entire time we were down there and the water is COLD right now. We live in NH so there's been no warm up yet. All our dogs love to swim but even our old yellow lab just waded in until it was deep enough to swim. We have never had a "launcher", so it was fun to watch her.

I have to remember to tuck my camera in my pocket. I miss more shots because it's at home. I also want to get pictures of our aussie - who also loves swimming - trying to herd the ducks in the brook. It's the only time she worries about herding.

The little on in the pics is Bella, Jazz is the cat, we also have a Bailey - the aussie and an Elvis a cocker mix.

Melody, so sorry to hear about your bc. I am glad mine could make you smile though, it's nice when they can help lift someone's spirits even briefly.

Princesstiffany, she does have a sweet face and her personality is just as sweet. Plus she's so soft and fluffy, it's like patting a little duckling!
