We are totally in shock as on May 9th, we lost our black standard male poodle who was 9 years old while walking. Then on June 16th, our chocolate standard, 11 years, died the same way, within 30 yards of each other. This is the scenario. We used harnesses, neighbors little dog was barking at the fence, our dogs then bark and pull on the leads, we are trying to walk and pull them away and each dog literally flipped to the side, body was squirming on the street for a short moment and then they went absolutely lifeless. Just heartbreaking. The vet said probably cardiac unrest but in both dogs? We are so sad and just in shock!

So sorry this happened to you. How horrible.

The only way to know for sure how they died is an autopsy. It's possible they could have gotten into something, but again, the only way to really know is an autopsy.
