The service dog program I'm with is currently in the process of setting up to use puppyraisers than to do one single dog at a time iwth each trainer, with a goal of doing 6-10 dogs a year instead of 1-2. For those of y'all who've puppyraised in the past, what did you like and not like?

Saw his pic on the dogster forum.

Our youngest daughter picks up her Guide pup on June 9th. She is doing the 4-H thing. So we will have a retired Guide, active Guide and Guide pup all in the same house.

I have wanted to do this for a long time, and hope to in the future. The first step (for me, not a puppyraiser requirement per se) was fostering a dog to see if I could actually give one up (pass!). Now I just need to wait until I have the time and space.

I fostered two pups, but my second pup failed (having HD and epilepsy), so we adopted him. Looking forward to moving out and start puppy raising again.
