I have been grooming dogs for 4 years. We recently moved out of state and I am going back to school. In order to pay for school I need to continue working and love to groom dogs but I would like to do it on my own and at my house. I am wanting ideas on the most cost effective ways and what you guys think the total cost would be to start a small grooming salon out of my home. Thank you!!

Check your city's zoning requirements for operating a business from your home before you invest any money in it.

You'll also need a business license, and consider the tax implications.
